The Online Super Series V starts November 27th

Here at Americas Cardroom, we’re no stranger to big announcements or big tournaments. After all, our recently completed $5 Million GTD Promo created waves in the poker industry with four $500,000 GTDs and three $1,000,000 GTD Million Dollar Sundays.  

But as big as the $5 Million GTD Promo was, we’re about to unleash something that is just as exciting to us and even a little more personal as the growth of this tournament series mirrors our growth as a company and online poker destination.

The first Online Super Series came in November 2011 and had total prize pools of $150,000, with the Main Event just $50,000. The second one came in January 2013 with the total guaranteed prize pool jumping to a cool $1,000,000, with $200,000 for the Main Event.

Now fast forward to today.

We are already up to the OSS V and there will be $2.6 Million guaranteed over 10 days and 76 events. The Main Event is one of our famous $1,000,000 GTD Million Dollar Sundays (Dec. 6^th), but there is also a $500,000 GTD this Sunday, November 29^th (5pm ET). It is that kind of growth that is making us the go-to destination for players not only in the US, but worldwide as well.

And it’s not just the big prize pool events that make the OSS V so great. We have buy-ins that start at just 27 cents and many others for 10 cents or below. There are also daily satellites available to get players into the pricier tournaments for just pennies on the dollar. We never want cost to be a barrier for a new (or existing) member to play with us.

Our other big goal is to have the perfect event(s) for every player. That’s why we have many different game types, including Texas Holdem, Pot-Limit Omaha and PLO8. Structures include regular, turbo and hyper turbo.
